In my role as a Psychologist, people generally come to see me for treatment of common issues such as depression, anxiety, panic, stress, grief and relationship issues. However, sometimes life's challenges can cause us to feel overwhelmed, stuck, and unfulfilled in different areas of our lives. I work closely with you to create a supportive therapeutic space where we can safely explore your thoughts and feelings, overcome obstacles, and build a path towards a more fulfilling life for you.
My approach is collaborative, empathic and interactive, where together we work to gain a deeper understanding of the different parts of who you are, identify patterns and beliefs that may be standing in your way, and develop new approaches that will allow you to build strength and resiliency. This provides a therapeutic environment that will foster growth, by providing optimal conditions under which you can thrive emotionally, intellectually and interpersonally.
My work integrates a number of therapeutic approaches. I offer Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitisation Processing (EMDR) and others. Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) works to solve current problems and change unhelpful thinking and behaviour; while mindfulness is the practice of being present, self-aware, and non-judgmental in your life.
By utilising various therapeutic techniques, together we work to take steps, towards your goals in a way that is meaningful and realistic to you. I believe in choosing therapeutic practices that are an individualised fit for you. It will allow you to gain control of your struggles and manage them in a more positive way.

Psychologists are registered with their State Registration Board and follow strict guidelines on professional conduct, responsibilities and confidentiality.
I will, on initial consultation, provide treatment plans highlighting the number of sessions and strategies needed to address any life issues.
